Koh Lee Ching is among the forerunner in the smart card solutions industry in Malaysia. She founded CALMS Technologies Sdn Bhd in 2002 and develop its main product that now becomes the core technology for smart card implementation. Today, CALMS empowers clients across various sectors to automate and improve their card issuance, usage and management processes while maximizing the return of investment of their smart card deployment. Having made a mark in the domestic market, Koh Lee Ching is now steering CALMS to the next level as a global player.
Adam Tan is the pioneering team member of CALMS Technologies when he joined the company in 2003. With vast experience in the technical sales for smart card, RFID system and solution, Adam spearheads the sales team to optimize customers experience towards smart environment and developing CALMS clientele across various sectors throughout ASEAN countries. He committed to lead the way to higher levels of service quality and client satisfaction towards CALMS solution. No doubt, Adam is the SMART ID GURU in this industry!
Siva leads the team of software engineers at CALMS in developing and innovating solutions. He spent more than 6 years in the roles of IT, software development and service at various companies in Malaysia before joining CALMS in 2008. He enjoys the challenge of keep up with the new technology to create the best solution for a seamless and convenient user experience. Siva holds the Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering degree from St. Peter’s Engineering College (University of Madras) Tamilnadu, India
Director, Corporate Services Division, Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC)
Mohammad Farish is currently the Director of Corporate Services of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (‘MTDC’), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad that is involved in commercialisation of public/private sector research results, early stage technology ventures, innovation policy development, and incubation space and fund management. Mohammad Farish is a Chartered Accountant who began his career from 1995 to 2003 with Messrs. PricewaterhouseCoopers KL & subsequently with Messrs. KPMG Kuala Lumpur, both in the Assurance and Business Advisory practice. He then joined MTDC as the Senior Vice President Finance and Corporate Services, and in 2010 he joined Scomi Engineering Berhad, a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, as General Manager of Business Development and Tender Coordination. He then returned to MTDC in May 2014 as the Director of Advisory and Value Added Services. Holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 1995 and is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Senior Vice President, TECHNOLOGY VENTURE FUND, Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC)
Idjarmizuan is currently the Senior Vice President at the Technology Venture Fund Department, Malaysian Technology Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MTDC). He is entrusted to manage the Business Startup Fund (BSF) and the Business Growth Fund (BGF) with total fund size of RM380 million. He is also appointed as Nominee Directors in several investee companies of MTDC. Idjarmizuan joined MTDC in February 2013 after serving six years as a Technical Member of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB). The international working exposure has allowed him to accumulate priceless experience dealing with central bank officials across the globe in the areas of policy, regulatory and supervision of the Islamic capital and money market and the Islamic banking industry. He has also served the Securities Commission, Permodalan Nasional Berhad and BBMB Securities Sdn Bhd during his 20 years working experience in various fields. Idjarmizuan reads finance at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA from 1995-1997.
